主講人簡介：

潘永信，中國科學(xué)院地質(zhì)與地球物理研究所研究員，中國科學(xué)院院士。1985年于武漢地質(zhì)學(xué)院獲學(xué)士學(xué)位，1988年于中國地質(zhì)大學(xué)獲碩士學(xué)位，1998年于中國科學(xué)院地球物理所獲博士學(xué)位。主要從事巖石磁學(xué)、古地磁學(xué)、生物地磁學(xué)、行星磁場與宜居性等研究，開拓了我國生物地磁學(xué)研究新方向。曾獲國家杰出青年科學(xué)基金、德國洪堡基金、中國青年科技獎、中國科學(xué)院杰出科技成就獎等。首次火星探測任務(wù)工程應(yīng)用科學(xué)首席科學(xué)家，《地球物理學(xué)報》和Earth and Planetary Physics主編。

Brief Introduction of Professor Yongxin Pan

Professor Yongxin Pan is the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prof. Pan earned his bachelor’s degree from the Wuhan College of Geology in 1985, his master’s degree from the China University of Geosciences, Wuhan in 1988, and his doctoral degree from the Institute of Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998. Prof. Pan has long been engaged in the scientific research of rock magnetism, paleomagnetism, biogeomagnetism, and planetary magnetism and habitability, especially expanding the research direction of biogeomagnetism in China. He obtained the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Prize of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and so on. He is the chair of Scientific Committee for the Tianwen-1 Mars Exploration Mission and is the editor-in-chief of the Chinese Journal of Geophysics and Earth and Planetary Physics.
