丹尼·萊因伯格，于1976年在智利瓦爾帕萊索天主教大學(xué)獲學(xué)士學(xué)位，于1982年在美國(guó)阿爾伯特·愛(ài)因斯坦醫(yī)學(xué)院獲得博士學(xué)位，先后在阿爾伯特·愛(ài)因斯坦醫(yī)學(xué)院和伯克利做博士后研究。1986年至2006年，他任新澤西醫(yī)學(xué)和牙科大學(xué)羅伯特·伍德·約翰遜醫(yī)學(xué)院的生物化學(xué)系助理教授、副教授、教授。1994年至2022年，他任新澤西州霍華德·休斯醫(yī)學(xué)研究所研究員。2023年至今，他任邁阿密大學(xué)米勒醫(yī)學(xué)院人類(lèi)遺傳學(xué)系杰出教授。丹尼·萊因伯格是表觀遺傳學(xué)和染色質(zhì)生物學(xué)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者，他的研究對(duì)哺乳動(dòng)物轉(zhuǎn)錄、基因表達(dá)和表觀遺傳學(xué)領(lǐng)域做出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。他的團(tuán)隊(duì)專注于基因抑制的分子基礎(chǔ)，以分子方式了解不同細(xì)胞譜系的產(chǎn)生。目前，他的團(tuán)隊(duì)正在研究被抑制基因細(xì)胞區(qū)室化的潛在機(jī)制，以及三維結(jié)構(gòu)是如何衍生和維持的。丹尼·萊因伯格 2012年當(dāng)選美國(guó)藝術(shù)與科學(xué)院院士，2015年當(dāng)選美國(guó)科學(xué)促進(jìn)會(huì)會(huì)士，同年當(dāng)選美國(guó)科學(xué)院院士，2020年當(dāng)選美國(guó)科學(xué)家榮譽(yù)學(xué)會(huì)（Sigma Xi）會(huì)員。
Brief Introduction of Professor Danny Reinberg
Danny Reinberg received his undergraduate degree from the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile, in 1976, his M.D. from Albert Einstein Medical School in the United States in 1982, and did postdoctoral research at Albert Einstein Medical College and Berkeley. From 1986 to 2006, he was Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey. From 1994 to 2022, he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator in New Jersey. Since 2023, he has been a distinguished Professor in the Department of Human Genetics at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Danny Reinberg is a leader in the field of epigenetics and chromatin biology, and his research has made important contributions to the fields of mammalian transcription, gene expression and epigenetics. His team focuses on the molecular basis of gene silencing and understands the production of different cell lines at the molecular level. Currently, his team is investigating the potential mechanism of compartmentalisation of silenced cells and how the three-dimensional structure is derived and maintained. Danny Reinberg was elected a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2012, a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2015, a member of the American Academy of Sciences in the same year, and a member of the American Society of Honorary Scientists (Sigma Xi) in 2020.
