主講人簡(jiǎn)介：
涂永強(qiáng)院士，1958年10月生于貴州遵義，蘭州大學(xué)和上海交通大學(xué)雙聘教授。涂永強(qiáng)1982年蘭州大學(xué)化學(xué)系有機(jī)化學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)畢業(yè)，1985和1989年在蘭州大學(xué)分別獲得碩士(有機(jī)碘雜環(huán)化學(xué))和博士(天然產(chǎn)物化學(xué))學(xué)位，導(dǎo)師黃文魁教授和陳耀祖教授；1993年1月在澳大利亞昆士蘭大學(xué)作博士后研究(天然產(chǎn)物化學(xué))，合作導(dǎo)師William Kitching教授。1995年10月回國(guó)后在蘭州大學(xué)任教授；1996-1998年任蘭州大學(xué)化學(xué)系副主任；1999年獲得國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金委資助的杰出青年基金；2001-2010年任功能有機(jī)分子化學(xué)國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任；2009年當(dāng)選中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士；2014年作為雙聘教授加盟上海交通大學(xué)，并于2018-2022年任上海交通大學(xué)化學(xué)化工學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)。現(xiàn)任中國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)常務(wù)理事，中國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士，英國(guó)皇家化學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士。
涂永強(qiáng)教授主要從事有機(jī)合成方法、天然產(chǎn)物全合成和金屬有機(jī)化學(xué)的研究，已在國(guó)際著名期刊發(fā)表研究論文260多篇。曾榮獲中國(guó)化學(xué)會(huì)“青年化學(xué)獎(jiǎng)”、“有機(jī)合成獎(jiǎng)”和“手性化學(xué)獎(jiǎng)”，國(guó)家教委科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)，香港求是基金會(huì)“杰出青年學(xué)者獎(jiǎng)”，三次省部級(jí)科技進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)和自然科學(xué)一等獎(jiǎng)，美國(guó)禮來(lái)公司“禮來(lái)科研成就獎(jiǎng)”。2012年被授予“全國(guó)優(yōu)秀科技工作者”稱(chēng)號(hào)。2016年獲“國(guó)家自然科學(xué)二等獎(jiǎng)”。2022年獲何梁何利“科學(xué)與技術(shù)進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)”。
Brief Introduction of Professor Tu Yongqiang
Academician Tu Yongqiang, born in October 1958 in Zunyi, Guizhou, is a Changjiang Distinguished Professor, concurrently appointed by both Lanzhou University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Professor Tu graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Lanzhou University in 1982, majoring in organic chemistry. He obtained his master's degree in 1985 and his Ph.D. in 1989 from Lanzhou University, under the guidance of Professor Wenkui Huang and Professor Yaozu Chen. In January 1993, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Queensland in Australia, collaborating with Professor William Kitching. He returned to China in October 1995 and became a professor at Lanzhou University. From 1996 to 1998, he served as the associate dean of the Department of Chemistry at Lanzhou University. In 1999, he received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China for the Distinguished Young Scholars Program. In 2005, he was appointed as a "Changjiang Distinguished Professor" by the Ministry of Education. From 2001 to 2010, he served as the director of the State Key Laboratory of Functional Organic Molecules Chemistry. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009. In 2014, he joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a dual-appointed professor and served as the Dean of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from 2018 to 2022. He is currently the Executive Council member and Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society, as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Professor Tu is mainly engaged in research in the fields of organic synthesis methods, natural product synthesis, and organometallic chemistry. He has published over 260 research papers in internationally renowned journals. He has received the "Young Chemist Award", "Organic Synthesis Award", and "Chirality Chemistry Award" from the Chinese Chemical Society, the second prize for scientific and technological progress from the National Committee of Education, the "Outstanding Young Scholar Award" from the Hong Kong Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole Foundation, and three first prizes for scientific and technological progress and natural science from provincial and ministerial levels. He also received the "Lilly Research Achievement Award" from Eli Lilly and Company. In 2012, he was awarded the title of "National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker". In 2016, he received the "Second Class Prize of National Natural Science". In 2022, he was awarded the "Ho Leung Ho Lee Science and Technology Progress Award".
